Cancellation Policy
Full refund if cancelled 3+ days before the event. 50% refund after that.
- 3+ days before: 100% refund
- Less than 3 days before: 50% refund
Platform fee (20%) is non-refundable. Deposits are always fully refunded on cancellation. Owner cancellations always result in a full refund.
Return & Care
When you rent on Collect Sisu, you're borrowing items from someone in your local community. Items should be treated with the same care you'd expect for your own.
Items must be returned:
- In the same condition they were received
- On time
- In the same quantity rented
All pieces must be accounted for at return.
Cleaning Expectations
Please return items:
- Free of food residue
- Clean and dry
For certain items:
- Glassware: Rinsed and free of residue
- Flatware & serving pieces: Clean and dry
- Textiles: Any visible stains treated before return

Late Fees
Items should be returned at the agreed-upon time.
A 15-minute grace period is provided after your return time. After that, the full booking rate may be charged again. The owner may waive this fee at their discretion.
If a return will be late, please notify the host as soon as possible.
Damage, Loss, or Missing Items
Small signs of normal use are expected.
If an item is returned damaged beyond normal wear, missing, or incomplete, the issue will be handled through Collect Sisu. Clear communication helps resolve issues quickly and fairly for both parties.
Deposits (If Applicable)
Some listings may require a security deposit for high-value or fragile items. If a deposit applies, the amount and terms will be clearly provided before booking.
