Free Adopt-a-Floppy Bluey Adoption Certificate (Canva Template)

The instructional sign and adoption certificates from a real Bluey 5th birthday's bunny adoption station — designed by the host of Ellie's party. Free editable Canva template, no email required.

When the host of Ellie's Bluey 5th birthday started planning the party, she knew the Adopt-a-Floppy station would be the centerpiece. Inspired by Bingo's beloved plush bunny Floppy, she designed a wall of stuffed bunnies and built a full “adoption” experience around it — letting each kid choose a Floppy, give it a name, and sign an official certificate before taking it home.

It was the emotional peak of the party. Parents cried. Kids cried. And now the printables that ran the station are yours, free.

What’s included

  • “Adopt Your Own Floppy” instructional sign — walks kids through choosing, naming, and adopting their plush bunny
  • Printable adoption certificates — with fields for the child’s name, the bunny’s chosen name, and a signature line

How the host set it up

The setup that made it magical:

A bunny wall. The host mounted small white shelves on a wall and lined them with 50 plush Floppy bunnies in grey, pink, white, and beige — enough variety for 36 kids that no one had to “settle” for a leftover.

The sign. Mounted on a small easel at kid-eye-level, walking through the 3-step adoption process so kids could navigate it independently.

A signing station. A small table with the adoption certificates, pens, and a basket. Each kid filled out their certificate and rolled it up to take home with their bunny.

An adoption photo moment. A small backdrop where each kid posed with their newly adopted Floppy.

Where to source the plush bunnies

The host bought 50 bunnies from a wholesale plush supplier for around $167 total — about $3.30 per bunny. The certificate template is free; the bunnies are the only real cost.

A note on the rest of the party

The printables are the easy part. The hard part is the easels, balloon arches, backdrops, kid-sized tables and stools, and the cocktail tables for the gift display.

The host rented all of it from neighbors on Collect Sisu — a peer-to-peer marketplace for event rentals and skills. Real pieces from real people in your neighborhood. No rental minimums, no agency markups.
