Free Bluey Character Prints — 30×40 (Canva Template)
The four oversized character panels that hung above the grazing table at a real Bluey 5th birthday — designed by the host of Ellie's party. Free Canva template sized 30×40, no email required.
These are the centerpiece of any Bluey party setup. The host of Ellie's 5th birthday made oversized 30×40 prints of all four Heeler family members — each in a party hat, surrounded by confetti — and hung them above the grazing table. They became the unofficial photo backdrop of the day, and kids stopped to point out their favorite character at least once each.
She's sharing the Canva files free so you can DIY your own at home. Print at any local print shop and you've got a $40 alternative to $400+ in custom Bluey decor. Don't have time? Scroll to the bottom — there's a service-based option too.

How the host used them at the party
She hung the four panels in a row above the grazing table. They became:
The de facto photo backdrop — every parent took a photo of their kid in front of “their” favorite character.
A dimensional anchor for the food spread — the visual height balanced out the table below.
A conversation starter — kids talked about which character they liked best the entire party.
What you’ll need to print at home
- The free Canva file (link above)
- Access to a local print shop (FedEx Office, Staples, Office Depot, or any independent shop)
- Foam board mounting (most shops offer this as an add-on)
- Optional: 4 small adhesive hooks or Command strips for hanging
Step-by-step
- 1Open the Canva template using the link above. It opens directly in your free Canva account.
- 2Download each character as a high-resolution PDF or PNG (Canva will let you choose). For 30×40 prints, choose the highest-resolution option available.
- 3Upload to your local print shop’s online order portal. Request a 30×40 print mounted on foam board for each character.
- 4Pick up the four prints (or have them delivered). Cost is typically $30–50 per panel depending on the shop, so plan for $120–200 total for all four.
- 5Hang them in a row above your food table or photo backdrop using Command strips or adhesive hooks.
Pro tips
- Order at least 1–2 weeks in advance — 30×40 is a custom size and most shops can’t do it same-day
- Foam board is the right call — it’s lightweight, looks polished, and doesn’t bend like flat paper prints
- Get a price quote from 2–3 shops before ordering — prices for large prints vary wildly between FedEx, Staples, and independent local shops
- If 30×40 feels too big for your space, the Canva file can be resized down to 20×30 or 24×36 without losing image quality
- Save the prints after the party — they make great wall art for a kid’s bedroom or playroom
Don’t have time to order from a print shop?
Totally fair. Custom large-format printing can be a hassle — navigating shop websites, comparing prices, picking up four oversized prints, hauling them home.
If you’d rather hand this off, Collect Sisu has print designers and party stylists in your neighborhood who’ll handle the whole thing for you. Send them the Canva file (or describe what you want), and they’ll print, mount, and deliver the prints ready-to-hang. Some will even install them at your venue.
Why hire someone on Sisu instead of doing it yourself?
- Time — large-format printing requires research, ordering, pickup, and sometimes returns when something goes wrong. A pro handles all of it.
- Quality — print designers know which paper weights, finishes, and mounting options look best at scale
- Local — your money goes to a real person nearby, not a national print chain
- Bundled options — many designers also offer welcome signs, character cutouts, and other party decor as packages
A note on the rest of the party
The printables are the easy part. The hard part is the easels, balloon arches, backdrops, kid-sized tables and stools, and the cocktail tables for the gift display.
The host rented all of it from neighbors on Collect Sisu — a peer-to-peer marketplace for event rentals and skills. Real pieces from real people in your neighborhood. No rental minimums, no agency markups.

Can I sell these or use them commercially?
No — these are free for personal birthday party use only. Please don’t resell them or use them in commercial party packages.
How much does it cost to print them?
Expect $30–50 per print at a local shop, mounted on foam board. So roughly $120–200 for all four. That’s a fraction of what custom Bluey decor would cost from a party vendor (often $400+).
Can I print them at home instead?
Most home printers max out at 8.5×11 or 11×17, which is much smaller than the 30×40 these are designed for. You can resize down in Canva, but the impact above the grazing table comes from the size — we’d recommend going to a local shop for the full effect.
What if I don’t have all 4 spots for the panels?
Hang fewer — even just Bluey and Bingo together makes a strong photo backdrop. Or hang them separately around the room as standalone moments.
